Lore: Beyond the Silence of the Engines

After the first explorers breached the "Engine Tomb" (formerly Labyrinth Dungeon), they didn't just find mechanical monsters; they stumbled upon a secret laboratory reeking of burnt oil and ancient magic. There lies "Zoltan the Exiled Engineer," the former assistant of the rebel master.

Zoltan discovered that the ominous energy planted by his master could be "tamed" and merged into human bodies through forbidden alchemy. Zoltan says: "Matter and soul have merged within the engines, and now it is your turn to become true machines... Power comes with a price, and that price is tears of steel."

First: The Genetic Pills System (Permanent Power)

Zoltan offers you "Zero Pills" (purchased once for ???? Gold per type). Once consumed, they unlock a "permanent" upgrade path for your character's stats, divided into 20 levels.

Steel Marrow Pill (Toughness): Increases Max HP, P.Def, and M.Def.

Neural Synchronization Pill (Speed): Increases Atk Speed, Cast Speed, and Dexterity.

Explosive Core Pill (Damage): Increases P.Atk, M.Atk, and Skill DMG.

Penetration Processor Pill (Lethality): Increases Defense Ignore.

Second: Upgrade Table & Resource Consumption (The Resource Sink)

Upgrading at Zoltan requires dungeon resources in escalating amounts with a real failure rate:
